I HAVE A QUERY, HOW DO I CONTACT YOU?

The aim of THE TILL ROLL DEPOT is to provide a high quality range of products at the most competitive pricing possible. To achieve this we run a very tight and slick operation with the minimum of staff, most of which are employed in our warehouse and distribution departments. How to measure a till roll

Firstly you need to measure the width of your roll. Secondly, measure the full diameter across the middle of a new till roll (include the centre core as well) You can also always refer to your Manufacturers Guide or use our extensive MACHINE COMPATABILITY FINDER to determine the size of the paper roll you require.

HOW DO I DETERMINE THE TYPE OF TILL ROLL PAPER?

  • Thermal Paper is heat sensitive, has a smooth shiny surface and there is only one copy of the receipt. Various colours of thermal paper are available to buy from THE TILL ROLL DEPOT.
  • Single Ply Paper (A grade) has a matt surface, it is printed using a ribbon or roller and there is one copy of the receipt. Many sizes are available to buy from THE TILL ROLL DEPOT.
  • Multiply Paper (2 or 3 ply) has two or three layers of carbonless paper and has a matt surface. A ribbon or roller is used to print the top copy and the 2nd and 3rd copy are achieved by the impact of the print head through the top copy. Various sizes and types of multiply rolls are available to buy from THE TILL ROLL DEPOT.

HOW DO I FIND A PRODUCT ON YOUR WEBSITE?

We have intentionally made our site user friendly. You can find your desired product really easily using a couple of different methods.

You can use our Quick Search bar at the top right of every page – just type in a keyword, for example 80 x 80 thermal – and this will bring up all related products using the keywords you have specified.

I HAVE FOUND THE SIZE OF THE ROLL I NEED AND HAVE NOTICED THERE ARE DIFFERENT PAPER COLOURS AVAILABLE, NOW I AM NOT SURE WHAT COLOUR I SHOULD ORDER

THE TILL ROLL DEPOT stock all the major sizes of till rolls and credit card rolls, and yes we also offer some thermal sizes in different colours eg:- Yellow, Pink, Blue, Green and White. Do you want your receipts to be more eye-catching, stand out from the rest, maybe you have a garden centre and would like to have green receipts, or a beauty parlour may want pink. The choice is completely yours!!

I HAVE NOTICED THAT SOME OF THE TILL ROLL DEPOTS PAPER ROLLS ARE CORELESS, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

A lot of the handheld portable printers can accommodate coreless rolls. This is a paper roll manufactured without the standard cardboard or plastic core in the centre. A longer length of roll is the main advantage having approx 40-50% more paper than its rival with a core. Also by using a coreless roll you are helping the environment as there is nothing to dispose of when the roll runs out. Most coreless rolls are available from THE TILL ROLL DEPOT in different colours.

I SEE THAT THE TILL ROLL DEPOT SELLS WAFFLETECHNOLOGY® CLEANING CARDS, WIPES ETC – WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF USING THESE PRODUCTS FOR MY CASH REGISTER / PRINTERS ETC?

There are many advantages to using the Waffletechnology® products and we carry a large range of cleaning solutions for your equipment. There is extensive proof that using these products eliminates problems caused by oils and dirt accumulating on print heads, which caused problems with machines reading cards. By eliminating these problems, it reduces equipment downtime, reduces maintenance fees, prolongs the equipment life and reduces capital expenditures. I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER, HOW LONG WILL MY GOODS TAKE TO ARRIVE?

Most items are available from stock and for all orders received by 3pm, our aim is to despatch the same day. Delivery is free to all UK Mainland addresses and most locations will receive a next day delivery although some remote areas will take a few days. Off-shore deliveries and special timed deliveries are not a problem but will incur an additional cost. Please contact us before placing your order to agree these details.

If any items are not in stock, we will contact you to let you know when we expect them to be available.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?

THE TILL ROLL DEPOT accept all major credit and debit cards abnd all our payments are handled through our secure Sage Pay system. You can be safe in the knowledge that THE TILL ROLL DEPOT is a safe secure site to deal with your purchases and payments.

I NOTICE THAT YOU CAN CHECKOUT AS A GUEST OR CREATE AN ACCOUNT – WHAT SHOULD I DO?

You can checkout as a guest if you prefer, but as there is no difference in time to create an account so you may as well take advantage of creating an account with us. All you do is create a user name and a password for our site. This means you will be able to view your account history, store multiple delivery addresses and take advantage of any special offers or promotions we may send you. We promise not to send you spam and we will not pass on your details to any third parties.

I HAVE ORDERED THE WRONG SIZE OF TILL ROLL’S, CAN I RETURN THEM FOR A REFUND OR EXCHANGE?

Yes of course you can, we all make mistakes! Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you have ordered the wrong size please contact us via email or ‘live chat’ with all your order details and we will be able to arrange everything for you.

I HAVE RECEIVED MY TILL ROLLS BUT THET ARE DEFECTIVE – WHAT DO I DO

This is a very rare occurrence! If an item is defective, please contact us within 30 days of receipt and we can arrange an exchange or refund.

I HAVE RECEIVED MY ROLLS FROM THE TILL ROLL DEPOT – HOW SHOULD I STORE THEM?

You should store all your paper rolls in a dry location with a moderate temperature. Thermal rolls should be kept in a dark place out of direct sunlight. Once any thermal paper is exposed to light the quality starts to degrade. Thermal rolls should be kept away from any heat source such as bright sunlight, heaters and radiators as they are obviously heat sensitive.

IS THE TILL ROLL DEPOT SITE SECURE FOR PAYMENTS ONLINE?

All payments to Till Roll Depot for orders placed online are handled by Sage Pay. Sage Pay is fully PCI Compliant. Till Roll Depot are not involved in the payments and therefore hold no details for credit / debit cards.
